Hill Mathieson specialise in handling insurance claims and the subsequent restoration works through our sister company Hill Mathieson Construction. YOUR INSURER HILL MATHIESON

You have an emergency/water leak you call your insurers for advice. They tell you to fix it yourself.

Call us immediately and we send the relevant tradesman to fix the problem immediately to mitigate further damage.

You call your insurers to report the claim, and have to wait in a queue and eventually after being answered you are asked hundreds of questions.

You call us and our knowledgeable team will appoint a representative to visit/call you, obtain the details necessary to lodge your claim and WE contact your insurer.

Your insurers will want you to obtain quotations/estimates for the works required. You have to call around various different builders to try and get them to attend to provide you with a quote.

Our qualified Building Surveyors will come out to your property and compile a detailed schedule of works substantiating all the damage with photos and provide a detailed report of the damage and costs to the insurers.

Your insurers will appoint a Loss Adjuster to assess your claim. They ask the same questions and will try and negotiate a lower settlement. Its beneficial for them and beneficial for your insurers.

We will send our Surveyor to meet with the insurers Loss Adjuster and negotiate and explain our submitted schedule of works justifying everything that is required. We ensure a beneficial settlement for you.

Once the Loss Adjuster has visited you have to chase him/her or your insurers for an update on your claim settlement.

Our claims handlers will contact the Loss adjuster/insurance company to chase settlement. We call, we wait in call queues saving your time.

The insurance company/Loss Adjuster make you an insufficient settlement offer meaning you have to put your hand in your pocket to contribute for something you should have been insured for.
